Mona Brash has been an active citizen in a variety of environmental and political issues in the Greater Victoria area for nearly 20 years. She has worked with groups and individuals from community, environmental, government (federal, provincial, regional, and local), and native organizations.
Mona has a degree in education and a diploma in Adult Education. She has a Masters degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria. She has been a tutor with BC Open University and has taken courses via distance education so is familiar with the challenges and benefits of individualized, distance learning. Currently, Mona is teaching Political Science at UVIC and speaks to community groups about politics.
